Two guys showed up from Sears to install the new washer. We only paid $1k for the old one 8 years ago so what do we expect.

My iPad battery died and I’d left the charger in Phili.

Another Sears guy showed up to fix the dishwasher, after we’d had to talk to Sears and order the parts separately, and after they hadn’t shown up the previous two times Marg had been waiting for them. Guess we’d been pretty harsh on that appliance over the past six months since we bought it.

Then my phone battery died mid-email, but at least I could find that charger.

Whatever did we do without all these modern conveniences.
