Can you say bubble in Canadian?

Here according to The Economist are Canadian housing prices in real terms (adjusted for 1975 $) double what they were in 1970, compared to the US, whose bubble burst in spectacular fashion in 2008.economist housing price chart

Add slowing commodity, notably oil & oil products, demand and prices paying people who are bidding up the housing market, and hmmm…..

Who cares though when there is a Mayor who smokes crack and hangs with the gangstas, another one who uses public funds for his son’s wedding, and in Quebec, never to be outdone when it comes to malfeasance of any type, a bunch of Mayors in Montreal losing their jobs one after the other on corruption charges.
