Bomb explodes outside of Roslyn School

Seems kind of surreal that a bomb could have gone off, and a guy get blown up, a block away from my elementary school, in civilized Canada.

Everywhere else, seemingly every day these days, but in Montreal, really?  How thankful should we be that it was back in the day, and not since October 1970.

Reminds one not to become desensitized to what is going on around the world, and so often, including again today, in schools across america.

And how NYT knew to send me this link today is another matter entirely.
