I knew there was a store, I didn’t know there was a Boright Street. Too bad it was in Sutton PQ and not Toronto or NY (-:

Again from the steps of the Boright & Safford Store, Frank Wheeler photographed the great emptiness resulting from the fire on the other side of Boright Street where several buildings had stood: the tannery, the bakery and the Lebeau Hotel.

    I met a woman today from Sutton (after which I googled and found that web link) who told me that the street that had been called “Boright St.” was in a shady section of town. Seemed about right.
